Waking up in my bed at my father's house feels like my world is empty and shattered. The heated moment with Alek took me to a place like never before. A place where my independence and my choices clash with my sincere love for him.

Feeling like a rag doll, torn and unsure what to do, I wonder if this is ever going to be mended between us. Running home to my father's was probably not the best thing to do under the circumstances. Alek must be mad, rightfully so.

At this point, hesitation has set in, I don’t even want to look at my phone. Hearing anything from Alek will set me off, send me into tears.

My mother and father are in the kitchen, their voices are calm, but it is obvious they are talking about me. My name is in every other sentence.

I walk into the kitchen to hear what is said, "Good morning, Mother good morning Father."

My mother hugs me, "It is so nice to have you home, honey! Please sit with your father and I, we must speak with you. Would you like a cup of coffee or tea?"

"I will take some coffee please, Mother."

My father stands against the counter with his eyes fixated on me. It is evident that he has a lot to say to me.

Sipping my coffee at the table, my mother and father sit across from me, "What is it you would like to talk with me about?"

My father sets down his coffee cup, his eyes bloodshot and red, "I am going to say what I need to and do the best I can to not lose my shit with you, young lady. Your choices lately have put me in a predicament like no other. I never dreamed my daughter would go against me and be with my enemy. Your loyalty to this family is questionable. I am disgraced by you and the fact you are with Alek Bychkov. I may not be the best father to you, Ciara, but know that what I do is for you, to protect you. Alek is not a good man, and he will eventually hurt you badly. This vendetta will never end between him and me, you know this. I will take that motherfucker out before he has a chance to see me coming. Since you seem to think it is okay to sneak around with him, here is what will happen. You will not see him anymore. You are not to have any contact with him, do you understand me? You cut those little heartstrings of yours with Bychkov, he will be dead soon, that I fucking guarantee you!"

"Father, I am well aware of the war between you both. Listening to this drives me crazy. You want to kill him! ."

"Don't you defend that piece of shit with me! You don’t realize what is going to happen soon. You will no longer have any contact with that man, are we clear? If I find you with him, I will shoot him dead right in front of you.
